Welcome

Outdoor Family Day

Is the Salt City Church the church for me?

Absolutely!  No matter who you are, where you are from, where you live, or where you are spiritually, we’re convinced that once you worship with us you’ll start to feel at home.

What are your services like?

People describe our worship services as fun, energetic and loving. Worship typically lasts no longer than 90 minutes and includes plenty of singing/worship, a reflective communion message, a life-guiding sermon, and warm and meaningful fellowship. Please check out our church calendar for the most up-to-date information.

How do I become a member?

We believe that the church is simply a body of believers who have become disciples of Jesus.  If you want to be a part of this body, the first step is to study the bible to find out what Jesus offers and how to accept His offer.

What’s expected of first-time visitors?

Nothing! You’ll find people dressed like you whether that means jeans and a sweater or a suit and tie.  Sing loudly or quietly when we worship together as you get to know the words and the music. You are welcome to take communion with us or not.  Hey, it’s your first time and we need to get to know each other.  You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask more questions of the church.  We encourage it :)

What kind of church is this?

We are a non-denominational, independent church in an interdependent worldwide brotherhood and are committed to the biblical model of self-governing leadership. We seek fellowship with, and council from churches with whom we are doctrinally unified in matters of salvation. We believe in working cooperatively with these churches toward our shared goal of evangelizing Central New York, the Empire State, and the world.

What about my kids?

We want to make sure that both children and adults enjoy an encouraging and inspiring time each Sunday.  During the lesson portion of worship services, we offer a Kids program for toddlers through 5th grade, allowing parents to listen to the lesson while children enjoy an age-appropriate time of learning, singing, and fun.
