Salt City Church
Historically, Syracuse, New York was one of the largest producers of salt in the country, earning the nickname "Salt City". At the Salt City Church, we take inspiration from Matthew 5:13-14 and from our city's history to live as the Salt of the Earth. Through discipleship, we spread our own spiritual SALT. Likewise, through worship, fellowship, service, and evangelism we strive to be the light of the world. Use the icons below to further explore our mission. Seeking, Saving
Seeking and Saving like Jesus (Luke 19:10)
We seek out the lost through evangelism to bring them closer to God through salvation and continued discipleship.

Anchored
Anchored in the hope of Heaven (Hebrews 6:19) and the word of God (Matthew 4:4)
Our faith is based on the word of God (the Bible) and we have hope in an eternal life spent with him in Heaven.

Loving
Loving God, loving one another, and loving others (Matthew 22:37)
We follow the commandment to love God with the whole of our hearts. We share that love within our welcoming community and in our city through service.

Teaching
Teaching one another and others about God (Matthew 28:19-20).
We obey the Great Commission to go and make disciples, which is given in the final chapter of Matthew.
